Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/CLS/MT) Scholarships
- Total scholarship value: $1,000 each
- Number of scholarships: 50
- Who can apply: Students in NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) programs
- Our partner: the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) administers this program on behalf of Siemens
- Student eligibility criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an NAACLS accredited program AND be in the final clinical year of education by the application close date;
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0;
- U.S. citizen OR a permanent U.S. resident; and
- Completed application packet submitted to the ASCP by November 11, 2009
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT/CLT) Scholarships
- Total scholarship value: $1,000 each
- Number of scholarships: 50
- Who can apply: students in NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) programs
- Our partner: the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) administers this program on behalf of Siemens
- Student eligibility criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an NAACLS accredited program AND be in the final clinical year of education by the application close date;
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0;
- U.S. citizen OR a permanent U.S. resident; and
- Completed application packet submitted to the ASCP by November 11, 2009
Graduate Student Scholarships
- Total scholarship value: $1,000 each
- Number of scholarships: 5
- Who can apply: students in graduate programs affiliated with NAACLS accredited MLS/CLS/MT programs
- Our partner: the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) administers this program on behalf of Siemens
- Student eligibility criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program affiliated with an NAACLS accredited MLS/CLS/MT program AND have started a graduate project or research project;
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0;
- U.S. citizen OR a permanent U.S. resident; and
- Completed application packet submitted to the ASCP by November 11, 2009
Legacy Scholarships
- Total scholarship value: $2,000 each
- Number of scholarships: 10
- Who can apply: students in NAACLS accredited MLS/CLS/MT and MLT/CLT programs
- Our partner: the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) administers this program on behalf of Siemens
- Student eligibility criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an NAACLS accredited program AND be in the final clinical year of education by the application close date;
- Be the child, grandchild, or sibling of a certified MLS/CLS/MT or MLT/CLT
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0;
- U.S. citizen OR a permanent U.S. resident; and
- Completed application packet submitted to the ASCP by November 11, 2009
