Donal Quinn
Donal Quinn
Chief Executive Officer
Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics
Mr. Donal Quinn was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in May, 2008. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of the same division since November, 2007. Previously, Mr. Quinn was Chief Operating Officer for Dade Behring Inc. with global responsibility for sales, service, marketing and logistics.
Mr. Quinn joined Dade Behring in 1998 as Group President, Biology and became President, Europe Middle East and Africa in 1999, responsible for all commercial operations within those regions. In 2000, he was promoted to President, International, responsible for all commercial operations outside of the U.S. and Canada, and in 2002, became President, Global Customer Management. He was appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer of Dade Behring in 2007.
Prior to joining Dade Behring Mr. Quinn worked as Global President, Hospital Business, for Mallinckrodt Medical, a medical device company based in Hennef, Germany. Prior to joining Mallinckrodt Medical in 1982, Mr. Quinn was Controller for Abbott Laboratories, Ireland.
Mr. Quinn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Cork University in Ireland in 1976. He continued his studies to become a Chartered Management Accountant and subsequently became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (F.C.M.A.).

Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Jochen Schmitz was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in January 2007. He is responsible for corporate controlling, business administration, financial analysis and information technology.
Dr. Schmitz joined Siemens in Munich, Germany in 1996 in the area of corporate finance, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of financial disclosure and corporate controlling. In 2004, he joined Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in Erlangen, Germany and was appointed Vice President of performance controlling. Dr. Schmitz was promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Molecular Imaging Division in 2005.
Dr. Schmitz holds a master's degree and doctorate in business administration and economics from the University of Augsburg in Germany.
