These electronic personal dosimeters (EPD) are equipped as standard with an IDA infrared interface (range 1m). Without a special dosimeter reader they can communicate bi-directionally with a computer or an access control station. The communication protocol is executed computer controlled in less than 5 sec. The EPD are light and sturdy and fit with their small, ergonomic design in any coat pocket.
