Innovative Coherent Volume Formation technology and the powerful architecture of the new ACUSON SC2000™ volume imaging ultrasound system enable Echo in a Heartbeat™ — instantaneous full-volume imaging (90° x 90°) without the need to stitch together or gate multiple heart cycles. Physiological capture of an entire cardiac cycle in a single heartbeat returns temporal resolution to volume echocardiography and enables volume imaging in patients who previously were not optimal candidates for 3D applications.
Workflow created for volume imaging supports streamlined protocols from acquisition through reporting. A database of expert user knowledge automates LV view extraction and measurements to improve overall consistency and reliability of the echo study.
