Sensitive & Specific - High depth and contrast resolution due to wide acquisition angle
3D tomosynthesis with MAMMOMAT Inspiration enables reduced tissue overlap and contrast enhancement of lesions. During a 50° sweep of the X-ray tube, 25 low-dose projection images are taken. The reconstructed 3D volume of the tissue is displayed in 1 mm slices and can be visualized via CineMode. In this manner, 3D tomosynthesis with MAMMOMAT Inspiration improves the sensitivity and specificity of diagnostic imaging of the breast.

3D tomosynthesis with MAMMOMAT Inspiration opens up a new chapter in image quality in mammography. The combination of a high spatial resolution and a large acquisition angle provides a high degree of depth resolution.
