Within the project Comprehensive Cancer Center, RHÖNāKLINIKUM AG and Siemens Healthcare shaped a new contractual basis in their cooperation in cancer diagnostics and therapy. Both companies will implement innovative IT solutions and further enhance diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in oncology.
The Simulation and Test Center, now owned by Siemens, includes four fixed beam treatment rooms for scanned protons and carbon ions beams. Siemens Healthcare will focus on developing and testing new software and additional features as well as simulating clinical workflows until 09/2013.
