Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Lancashire, part of the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, has installed an Artis zee™ floor mounted system with a 20 x 20 detector for use in interventional cardiology. The Western Infirmary, part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, is benefiting from increased cardiac image quality following the installation of an ACUSON SC2000™ diagnostic ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare. The hospital is one of the first in the UK to have installed the system. The purchase was funded by the British Heart Foundation Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre, who will share use of the system for research projects. More
