The cover story in the latest edition of our corporate magazine focuses on the Study of Health in Pomerania (SHIP). Observing certain individuals over a long period of time, researchers at the University of Greifswald, Germany, hope to identify how risk factors solidify, how a disease develops over the years, and which course it takes, under which individual circumstances and to eventually identify an algorithm that will enable the prediction and prevention of an imminent disease in an individual. Other topics comprise service, continuing medical education, IT and integrated diagnostics.
