MRI Breast Reading and Reporting
Reliable reading and reporting is based on a standardized assessment of morphologic and dynamic enhancement criteria. Thus, sensitive and specific diagnosis is reached in short time thanks to the new MRI techniques. A prerequisite for this is an optimized imaging protocol. Based on more than 25 years of experience, we have developed a robust and fast imaging protocol including dynamic T1w and T2w sequences with an overall acquisition time of about 12 minutes. During this workshop we will discuss the challenges that radiologists face during MRI Breast examinations and then review several cases.
Thursday March 1, 16:00 - 17:30
Sunday March 4, 12:00 - 13:30
MRI / CT Modern MSK Imaging
In this workshop we will explain the management of patients, the modality of choice for different indications, the acquisition protocols and post-processing tools facilitating the diagnosis and improving the visualization of lesions. Among the cases presented, there are examples of dynamic CE MRI for the differential diagnosis of the giant cell tumors, 3D CT of scoliosis and corresponding MRI (3D CISS with MPR) for diagnosing tethering/syrinx etc…
Friday March 2, 12:30 - 14:00
MRI in Acute Stroke
This workshop will include basic information on stroke pathophysiology and the penumbra concept. We will present an overview of MR sequences and techniques relevant for imaging acute stroke. Furthermore recent guidelines for the interpretation of imaging findings will be described. Finally the analysis and evaluation of stroke MRI data on the Siemens Workstation will be practiced on few selected cases.
Friday March 2, 16:30 - 18:00
Multimodal Prostate MRI
This workshop focuses on providing practical information for structured reporting of multimodal MRI of the prostate including high-resolution TSE sequences, perfusion-weighted imaging, diffusion weighted imaging, and MR-spectroscopy. We will discuss recent reporting protocols and analyze prostate MRI in several cases with dedicated image analysis tools using Siemens workstations. At the end of the workshop, participants should be aware of:
