For a clinical site to be successful, it is essential to obtain the highest possible diagnostic accuracy while maintaining a fast and efficient workflow. Can syngo.via* help enhance efficiency? To answer this question, we conducted the syngo.via Efficiency Study.
The following results are based on the statistical analysis of data from the syngo.via Efficiency Study. They provide an estimate of the potential time savings and patient-centric productivity gains that can be achieved by using syngo.via compared to a conventional advanced visualization or PACS workstation.
Contact your local Siemens representative to learn more about the possible time savings and patient-centric productivity gains that could be achieved by using syngo.via software in your institution.**
The syngo.via Efficiency Study is a multi-center study to quantitatively compare the efficiency of syngo.via and other conventional reading workstations. Radiologists from multiple medical sites of various sizes and locations have participated in the study. The case mix per workflow under study has been determined by each site, reflecting their daily clinical routine. An adequate number of cases were measured and analysed per workflow with regard to the following question: What time savings can be achieved by using syngo.via compared to a conventional workstation?

* syngo.via can be used as a stand-alone device or together with a variety of syngo.via-based software options, which are medical devices in their own rights.
** The outcomes achieved by the Siemens customers during the syngo.via Efficiency Study were achieved in the customer's unique setting. Since there is no "typical" hospital and many variables exist (e.g. hospital size, case mix, level of IT adoption) please be aware that we cannot guarantee, warrant or represent that others will actually achieve the shown time savings and patient-centric productivity.
