RealTime Solutions (RTS), a suite of web-based service and support products designed to support select instruments, is now available for ADVIA Automation Solutions. It provides improved uptime and rapid problem resolution for our most demanding customers.
RTS is designed for existing and new ADVIA Automation customers who need higher levels of service and support. RTS differentiates the automation solution by increasing uptime, rapidly diagnosing problems, and shortening time to resolution.
RTS increases a laboratory’s efficiency and system update through the use of Remote Desktop and Online Troubleshooting services. Remote Desktop allows a Siemens technician trained in patient confidentiality to assist in troubleshooting by accessing instruments and software over the Internet. Online troubleshooting uses automated access to Siemens instrument logs to rapidly diagnose system issues. Protecting confidentiality of patient information is an essential part of RTS. The service is ”firewall friendly”, requiring no changes to a lab’s security infrastructure.
