Designed to enhance disease management and patient care, this latest addition to Siemens Healthcare’s family of hematology systems provides the most current technology for white blood cell differentials, red blood cell, reticulocyte, platelet, and cerebral spinal fluid testing, with excellent first-pass accuracy. Physicians and patients can rely on the system to get it right the first time. Another first, the ADVIA 2120i Hematology System combines FDA-cleared flow cytometry-based analysis capabilities on a routine analyzer with the proven peroxidase method, creating a system in which cells are differentiated using both stain and size characteristics.

ADVIA 2120i goes beyond sophisticated screening―it simplifies and streamlines all aspects of testing, allowing laboratory staff to work faster and more efficiently. It does so by eliminating the majority of manual steps, including many microscopic reviews commonly performed in hematology testing. Add to this the system’s reduced maintenance requirements and the SMART integrated slide making and staining of the optional ADVIA Autoslide, and the ADVIA 2120i Hematology System is an excellent choice to boost laboratory productivity. Many of the new system’s features are customer-inspired from ADVIA 2120 Hematology System user feedback.
