Course Description
CN8SUAS is a one and one half day course to be held at the Malvern, PA campus, covering the actual workings of the archive device on a day-to-day basis, its daily, weekly, monthlydatabase maintenance and its role within the PACS environment.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

• Distinguish between and IMS and PDIR(S) database
• Back up databases
• Maintain the jukebox
• Maintain Patient Database
• Rename patients
• Merge folders
• Change patient demographics
• Delete/Undelete exams
• Perform Daily, Weekly, Monthly Database Maintenance

Audience
Individual(s) assigned at PACS sites to maintain and operate an Archive Device

Course/Skill Prerequisites
Possession/purchase of a MagicStore and other storage device e.g. jukebox, deep archive

Course Information
Classes begin at 8:30 AM each day and end at 5:00 PM.
