Course Description
This is a course designed for Nuclear Medicine technologists to introduce them to the basics of e.soft, Syngo and the e.cam. Operation of e.soft, the acquisition and processingstation that controls the e.cam, is described and demonstrated in class along with hands-on sessions. An Understanding of the relationship between e.soft and Syngo will be discussed. The course will discuss such topics as patient registration, acquisition setups, display techniques and processing techniques. E.cam calibrations as well as basic e.cam functions will also be discussed. The classroom setting will provide an optimal environment for learning without distractions and many opportunities for questions and answers.

Upon Completion of this course participants will be able to:

• Register patients and manipulate patient data in the Syngo browser
• Understand the workflow concept and how to change acquisition parameters
• Be able to display data and change it to suit the needs of your own workplace
• Be able to process all data types and understand how to film, archive and transfer

Audience
The e.soft Basics course is designed for Nuclear Medicine Technologists who have little or no experience with e.soft and wish to learn all of the basics to be prepared for on-siteapplications.

Course/Skill Prerequisites
No prior courses required. An understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and basic Windows software is preferred.
