vWF Ag® Reagent
The vWF Ag assay is a turbidimetric assay for the quantitative determination of von Willebrand Factor (VWF) antigen (Ag) and provides accurate and precise results. Whereas the Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics BC von Willebrand reagent can be used for determination of von Willebrand ristocetin cofactor activity (VWF:RCo), the vWF Ag assay determines the level of specific antigens. Both are necessary for differential diagnosis of von Willebrand disease (VWD) subtypes.
Intended use:
The vWF AG test kit is intended for in-vitro diagnostic use with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics or Sysmex coagulation analyzers for the quantitative determination of vWF Ag in human plasma by immunoturbidimetry.
