3gAllergy detects allergen-specific IgE

In vivo allergy test is an umbrella term that encompasses several different procedures, all of which entail directly exposing a patient to the suspect allergen. In vitro tests measure the concentration of IgE in the circulation that is specific for a particular allergen. Siemens, a trusted company in healthcare, sets a new standard in allergy testing with low-level detection at 0.1 kU/L. Detection at lower IgE levels can lead to earlier diagnosis and treatment initiation. 

The blood test measures the levels of allergy antibody, or lgE when blood is mixed with a series of allergens in a laboratory.
