Features & Benefits

3D Visualization of fMRI results overlaid on volume rendered anatomical datasets
Intuitive visualization of the spatial relation of eloquent cortices with regard to cortical landmarks or brain lesions
On the fly adjustments of statistical and visualization parameters
Signal time course plots from Volumes of Interest (VOI) specified interactively in 3D
syngo task card: intuitive & ready to use from day one

Visualization

3D Visualization of fMRI results

Overlay of t-test images on anatomical 2D and 3D datasets
Visualization with 3D volume rendering
Superimposing on cut planes through the volume

Pre-surgical Planning

Tool for Pre-surgical Planning

The 3D display of functional brain mapping results allows a better understanding of the spatial relationship between eloquent cortices, cortical landmarks and brain lesions like tumors. syngo 3D offline fMRI helps to present the fMRI results to the referring surgeon.

Adjustment of the View

On the Fly Adjustment of the View

Instantaneous update of activation view after adjustment of the t-value
Various activation color palettes
Online adjustable 3D clustering: allows definition of the minimum display size of clusters of activated voxels, thus single voxels of activation, most likely not representing functional activation but noise, are suppressed
Change of the degree anatomical structures shine through the overlaid activation

Volume

Fly Through the Volume

Zoom, pan and rotate in 3D without noticeable delay. Free double oblique angulation of up to 6 cut planes.

Signal Time Courses

Analysis of Signal Time Courses

Interactive specification of Volumes of Interest (VOIs) on sectional images
Calculation of the mean signal time course of all voxels in the VOI, the calculation may be restricted to activated voxels
Time courses are displayed instantaneously
Individual signal time courses from up to ten VOIs can be displayed simultaneously

Data Quality

Data Quality Monitoring

Based on the B0 field map, loaded automatically with the fMRI data, areas with less reliable results are indicated.

Archiving & Distribution

Views in all view-ports can be saved, archived, and exported as DICOM images
All DICOM images can be printed on film or paper printers, color printers are supported
Views can be exported as bitmaps for, e.g., presentation purposes
