iGuide CAPPA is part of iGuide, the new Siemens needle guidance solution, which provides live and integrated needle guidance in the interventional suite.
iGuide CAPPA is comparable to a GPS for the human body. The system provides electromagnetic needle guidance without additional radiation based on DICOM images, e.g., syngo DynaCT. Realtime needle tracking allows precise needle placement especially when performing complex needle procedures.
Performing needle procedures in the angio suite allows for optimal patient access, including double oblique punctures. In addition, the CT scanner remains free for more diagnostic procedures.
