A leap to syngo® Imaging with the new migration tools
syngo® Imaging is a genuine technology leap in the PACS domain. To allow our customers to benefit from this technical revolution, Siemens has developed special implementation tools for customized comfortable migration.

• Step-based data migration with the Mediamigration Tool
  A step-based change to syngo® Imaging Long Term Archive: the customer‘s database may be copied to the new storage technologies as a background process with the new Media Migration Tool.
• Migration on demand with the Fast Migration Tool
  Change to the latest syngo® imaging system platform. With the help of this Fast Migration Tool, the image series stored in SIENET Format are displayed in syngo Imaging with the “on the fly procedure”. That saves time and money-consuming copying of the database. This migration is faster and less expensive than DICOM-based migration procedures.
