The alphanumeric keyboard is a component of the keypad. Use the alphanumeric keys for entering patient data, selecting an exam type, and annotating clinical images.

To select or change the exam type press EXAM TYPE on the keypad or NEW PATIENT. Select exam type from the Exam Type menu and press SELECT. This configures the system for a specific application type, i.e. Abdomen, Cardiac, etc.

Press STORE � the P10 imaging system stores still frames or loops to a removable SD memory card. To save a single frame, press STORE when the system is in freeze mode. To save a loop, press STORE when system is in live imaging or CINE mode. A progress bar displays the percentage of completion NOTE: An error message will be displayed to indicate insufficient storage space.

To activate Cine playback press FREEZE. Most recently acquired image is displayed with Cine bar below image. Press FREEZE again to exit Cine back to 2D. Activating Frame Review: To review one frame at a time, use left and right Nav ring arrows. To adjust the speed of the loop, press the up arrow. To stop the cine playback, press the down arrow. Suspends active scanning and displays the last acquired image on the screen as a still frame. If an image or sweep is already frozen, press the FREEZE key to restore real-time imaging. In freeze mode, use the up or down buttons on the navigation ring to start or stop cine playback
Functions such as measurements, menus, and annotations are sub-modes to the freeze mode.

In 2D-mode, freeze, or when a recall image is displayed, press SELECT. Select Annotations and then select an annotation from the list. The system displays a highlighted box.
Press SELECT to position the annotation on the screen where the highlighted box displays. To change the location of the annotation, reposition the highlighted box inside the image, and then press SELECT. To delete all annotations, select ClearAll from the annotations menu. To exit annotations, select Exit from the annotations menu. To save annotations: Insert annotations on the image and press STORE. The system saves the current image frame with annotations. |
The Navigation Ring has four orientation buttons, with the SELECT key at its center. Navigation buttons up and down increases and decreases depth. Navigation buttons left and right increases and decreases system gain. Use the navigation ring to reposition within menus and position onscreen controls, such as measurement cursors.
SELECT performs multiple functions based on the system mode. In imaging modes, SELECT key launches a pop up menu and allows you to highlight menu entries. Scroll to desired menu (with UP and Down) press SELECT key to activate the highlighted menu.

MEASUREMENT displays the measurement menu. When the measurement menu is active, use the navigation ring and SELECT key to control the movement of measurement cursor endpoints for calipers (2 sets) or the rotation, size, or panning of the ellipse.

Select Caliper 1 or Caliper 2 and position. The value is displayed in the lower right of the screen. Reposition the highlighted endpoint using the navigation ring buttons and press SELECT to highlight next caliper end point. Press MEASUREMENT. System locks the location and value of the current caliper, and redisplays the measurement menu. Press STORE to save measurements. To delete measurements without saving, press FREEZE twice. |

| Select Ellipse from MEASUREMENT menu. The system displays an ellipse measurement tool and displays the current value for perimeter and area in the lower left screen. To toggle between rotation, panning, or changing the size of the ellipse, press SELECT. The highlighted endpoint moves based on your selection. Press the navigation ring buttons to rotate, pan, or change the size of the ellipse. Press MEASUREMENT. System locks the location and value of the current ellipse, and redisplays the measurement menu. Press STORE to save measurements. To delete measurements without saving, press FREEZE twice. | |
| To Save Multiple Measurements within a loop: | |
| Scroll to the desired frame in the loop and perform required measurement (s). Scroll to the next required frame and perform measurement(s). When you have performed measurements in all required frames, press SELECT to display the CINE pop-up menu, and select Play. Press STORE to save all measurements in the loop. | |
| To Delete Measurements: | |
| After a measurement is performed, press MEASUREMENT and select Clear. The system removes all currently displayed measurements from the screen. |
