The most common CT exams require initial unenhanced scanning, e.g. to identify bleedings in stroke imaging or evaluating respectively staging of incidental findings in oncology. With the 'Flash' every scan can be a virtual non-contrast scan, eliminating extra workflow steps and dose of additional unenhanced scans.
