We believe in being a good corporate neighbour and responsible corporate citizen. We give precedence to projects in which we can contribute knowledge and bring our solutions competency to bear. We support Siemens Corporate initiatives and have also deployed specific initiatives to support the community in specific areas of furthering healthcare.
Our Corporate 'Caring Hands' initiative engages our employees in Volunteering, Disaster Relief and Social giving. Volunteering is about our employees doing things for their communities in their free time. Disaster relief is about delivering swift and unbureaucratic aid in the wake of disasters and in other situations of acute need. Social giving is about engaging our employees in projects to support people and groups established to provide for community needs and promote community causes.
Our Corporate 'Generational 21' initiative is about engaging Siemens Employees in the development of the workforce for the future. This includes awakening children's interest in science & technology undertaking projects to support schools making new technology more accessible to students and advancing their knowledge and engaging in win-win partnerships with universities and colleges.
In support of our vision to 'Improve Healthcare' we have established a number of approached whereby we bring our competencies to bear including, assisting research, delivering training, supporting professional bodies, medical charities and specific customer causes.
