“Our MLC-based IMRT program relies upon the technologically advanced PRIMUSMedical Linear Accelerator. We found thatPRIMEVIEW is a valuable, real-time visualization tool that pictorially allows usto follow the complex delivery process of3D CRT and IMRT. Then, we upgraded ourIMRT delivery to Siemens Cinematic IMRTby adding IM-MAXX and IMFAST to ourPRIMUS, and we found that our treatmenttimes decreased by as much as 42%. Itwas relatively easy to implement IMRTwith these essential components. Wehave recently added another PRIMUS inorder to expand our IMRT practice.”
