Course Description
The syngo MR Level I Basic Applications course is a 3.5 day course introducing the syngo MR user interface and operating software implemented on the MAGNETOM MR systems. This course utilizes simulation consoles for instruction on the basic system functions. Demonstrations, lectures and labs include: patient registration, patient browser, Viewing Task Card, Filming Task Card, Exam Task Card (protocol creation and exam parameter cards), 3D Task Card, configuration, Composing Task Card, Mean Curve Task Card and image management.

Upon Completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the basic principles and workflow of patient examinations.
• Operate, create and modify examination programs.
• Create and save measurement protocols
• Manage and manipulate images.
• Manage the patient browser image database
• Perform required post-processing of data
• Configure the various menus on a MAGNETOM syngo MR system

Audience
This course is designed for MR technologists who will be operating a MAGNETOM systems and have no previous syngo MR experience.

Course/Skill Prerequisites
All levels of MR experience are appropriate. This is an introduction to the Siemens MAGNETOM syngo MR system operating software. This course does not include instruction in the basic principles of MR Physics. For information on the MR Physics and Basic Principles MR course, please click here

Courses will be held 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday – Thursday and 8:30 am – 11:30 am on Friday.
