What is syngo REVEAL?
Diffusion imaging has been a powerful tool
for brain scans for quite some time. Now,
with syngo REVEAL, diffusion imaging can
provide improved differential
diagnosis throughout the body. syngo
REVEAL enables you to detect lesions in a
specific local area such as the liver and,
when needed, extend the exam to include
other body regions (additional organs,
lymph nodes, or even the entire body).
Thanks to Tim technology, all of this can
be done easily without repositioning the
patient or the coils.
This means that you can better
differentiate malignant from benign
lesions. Get additional functional
information about primary and metastatic
tumors. And assess possible infiltration
of the lymph nodes more reliably. And,
with Tim’s iPAT capabilities (SENSE and
GRAPPA) you enjoy fast image
acquisition and great image quality.
Clinical applications
syngo REVEAL shows promising results
in the field of oncology and is
particularly useful for the characterization
of liver lesions.
syngo REVEAL is ideal for assessing
metastases, reoccurences, and postoperative
progress. It can also be used to
differentiate between malignant and
benign tumors in the liver, colon, prostate,
and possibly breast and lungs.
In addition, syngo REVEAL can support
assessing lymph nodes’ infiltration.
All of these indications are possibly
applicable in both primary diagnosis and
follow-up studies after systemic or local
chemotherapy or treatment.
