OPTIVUE Service

The OPTIVUE Service course is intended for the service engineer, Biomed, or in-house engineer that needs an in-depth understanding of how system components work; and how to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot the OPTIVUE Electronic Portal Imaging Device (EPID). In this 5-day hands-on course, the student will complete a positioner mechanical and precision alignment, verify and save all axis calibrations using service software, and perform procedures to capture image corrections and dead pixel maps. Using the new OCS Concord Training Treatment Room, the student will use state-of-the-art COHERENCE RTT Workspace software to delivery radiation and use Portal Imaging software tools to acquire phantom images. When the test images are captured, the student will perform quality control test using the Image Quality Measurement Tool. A portion of this course is also dedicated to diagnosing and troubleshooting common problems, as well as, replacing faulty system components
