The MAGNETOM Espree™ from Siemens Medical Solutions is the world’s first open bore 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system with Tim® (Total imaging matrix) technology, offering more room than the traditional MRI, addressing issues related to obesity, claustrophobia, elderly and pediatric patients, and capable of capturing high-field quality diagnostic images.
MAGNETOM Avanto
The MAGNETOM® Avanto magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system from Siemens Medical Solutions offers seamless metastasis evaluation, whole CNS imaging and visualization of vascular diseases. The Avanto is the first Siemens system to fully incorporate Tim® (Total imaging matrix) technology, the first whole body surface coil concept, and features a host of advanced applications with Siemens’ new T-class and I-class generation MRI systems designed to advance clinical and workflow capabilities at and beyond the scanner.

Siemens MAGNETOM C!
The MAGNETOM C! is the world’s first magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system with 270° accessibility. The 0.35 Tesla system features the most compact, mid-field, C-shaped magnet, with the smallest pole diameter available at 54 inches. The MAGNETOM C! is open on three sides to permit ease of side loading and optimized patient comfort, and also features multi-channel imaging, which allows simultaneous placement of up to four coils.

This clinical brain image was obtained using Siemens syngo® SWI (Susceptibility Weighted Imaging), a technique used with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that reveals blood products and venous structures with great clarity in minutes. This allows for better depiction of bleeding in stroke and brain trauma patients, visualization of contusions and shearing injuries, and identification of minute intracranial vascular malformations.

This clinical image was obtained using syngo® DTI Tractography, which enables 3D visualization of white matter tracts in the brain for improved neurosurgical planning, based on diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) up to 256 directions.
