Siemens Biograph PET•CT
The Biograph family of PET•CT systems — which consists of six-, 40- and 64-slice, as well as new TruePoint™ configurations — is the most comprehensive PET•CT product offering on the market today, providing clinicians with unmatched imaging clarity and diagnostic confidence for applications such as oncology management and cardiac assessment.
These images demonstrate a typical positron emission tomography and computed tomography (PET•CT) combination image before (left) and after applying Siemens Medical Solutions HD•PET algorithm. The clarity achieved by HD•PET is the result of a proprietary technology that optimizes the elements of image uniformity, resolution and contrast.
Siemens Biograph PET•CT
This clinical image, acquired using Siemens Biograph TruePoint™ 64-slice PET•CT, shows increased metabolic activity in the vertebral marrow of a lymphoma patient after chemotherapy. The new TruePoint PET•CT platform opens the door to the largely untapped potential of molecular imaging by adding 33 percent more axial volume coverage to its PET•CT scanners. Enlarging the PET field of view, TruePoint PET•CT technology is able to detect 78 percent more photons, resulting in more precise and detailed images.

Siemens Biograph PET•CT
This image acquired with a Siemens Biograph™ 64 shows normal cardiac FDG uptake with calcification in abdominal aorta, demonstrated by thin slice CT. The world’s fastest PET•CT scanner, the Biograph 64, provides clinicians with unprecedented image quality and the ability to perform high-resolution CT angiography and myocardial perfusion, viability, and function assessment in one accurately registered exam.
Siemens Symbia TruePoint SPECT•CT
Siemens’ Symbia® product family is the first platform to incorporate TruePoint™ SPECT•CT. The Symbia platform’s flexible, scalable system architecture allows Siemens to offer a variety of models within the Symbia family, including multi-slice CT configurations with speeds of up to 0.6 seconds per rotation. This can enable physicians to obtain a functionally accurate, anatomically precise SPECT•CT study 20 times faster than other systems on the market.
Siemens TruePoint SPECT•CT
This liver image was acquired using Siemens’ TruePoint™ Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT•CT) technology, the first technology to combine the functional sensitivity of SPECT with the rich anatomical detail of diagnostic multislice CT for true imaging clarity and diagnostic confidence.
