For a two-week period, hospitals throughout the United States went online to bid on the Ysio®, the first-to-market digital radiography (DR) system with wireless detector from Siemens Healthcare. The system has been donated to the Children’s Health Fund (CHF), a national organization dedicated to providing health care for homeless and medically disadvantaged children and advocating on behalf of all children, to be put up for auction. CHF enabled hospitals to bid online for the new DR system, thereby offering one lucky hospital and its community a DR solution for virtually all clinical demands. All proceeds from the event benefit CHF.
