What is syngo BLADE?

syngo BLADE measures and corrects in-plane motion through periodically rotated overlapping parallel lines with enhanced reconstruction. syngo BLADE acquires multiple low resolution data sets and combines them to make one motion free, high quality image. This provides clear images in all slice orientations and body regions such as the head, spine, liver or knee. On Tim systems, syngo BLADE benefits from the use of Tim Matrix coils, which are all Parallel Acquisition Techniques (iPAT) compatible. It simply reduces scan time, therefore reducing motion artifacts even further! syngo BLADE.

Powered by Tim.

Now you can. syngo BLADE Capable of robust imaging in neurological, orthopedic and body procedures, even in cases of severe movement, the syngo BLADE motion correction enables to increase patient throughput and decrease costs. It’s as simple as that: medical professionals can reduce sedation rates in pediatric and anxious patients, and still get high-quality images to make a diagnosis.

Clinical applications

syngo BLADE includes:

  • syngo BLADE makes it feasible to use less sedation in pediatric* patients
  • syngo BLADE compensates for motion created by Uncooperative Patients
  • syngo BLADE is capable of imaging in any orthogonal plane
  • syngo BLADE works in all contrasts (T2, DarkFluid, Fat Saturation etc.)
  • syngo BLADE works in all body regions
  • syngo BLADE compensates for motion created by involuntary motion as well as uncooperative patients

*The safety of imaging infants has not been established.
