ADVIA® Centaur CP and XP
Siemens is providing laboratories with fully automated immunoassay platforms that deliver powerful productivity and efficiency as well as streamline the delivery of medical information to clinicians. Systems such as the ADVIA Centaur® XP Immunoassay System deliver a new level of productivity through intuitive design and advanced capabilities such as high-throughput of up to 240 tests per hour. Laboratorians can also utilize the ADVIA Centaur CP Immunoassay System alongside the Centaur XP and achieve expansive collaboration through a broad range of disease state assay groups.

ADVIA® CentraLink
The ADVIA CentraLink system enables management of patient and quality-control (QC) data from multiple instruments at any client workstation. The system utilizes a single LIS connection and supports up to 16 instruments and up to 10 client workstations. It features data storage for up to 10,000 samples per connected instrument with order entry, customized patient reporting capabilities and uninterrupted QC management. The ADVIA CentraLink features seamless ADVIA WorkCell®/ADVIA® LabCell® communication and accommodates parallel automation and instrument communications; providing a work-order cache/buffer for real-time instrument query.

ADVIA® Decapper
The ADVIA Decapper has been developed as a seamlessly integrated on-line feature for existing ADVIA WorkCell and LabCell Automation configurations. The unit handles a variety of sample tube types, including screw caps, rubber stoppers, and Hemoguard stoppers at a speed of 600 tubes/hour. The integrated cap detection system ensures the proper operation is performed for every tube. This module improves worker safety and benefits lab personnel by limiting the need for repetitive motions while reducing the exposure to sample biohazards as it handles pre-spun specimens without interruption.

Clinitek® Advantus™ analyzer
In today’s busy laboratory environment, dependable solutions are critical to providing the level of service that the hospital and/or laboratories demand. Siemens’ laboratory urinalysis portfolio provides options for productivity solutions that help meet those challenges, with high-quality test results. The Clinitek® Advantus™ analyzer is a highly productive, semi-automatic urine chemistry analyzer that can perform up to 500 tests per hour. The enhanced analyzer is network-ready and delivers improvements such as the ability to consolidate microscopic test results.

IMMULITE® chemiluminescent immunoassay systems
IMMULITE® chemiluminescent immunoassay systems offer various types of testing through their flexible platforms and breadth of menu. Laboratorians rely on IMMULITE solutions for ease of use and full-integration capability.

The turbo capabilities of the IMMULITE 1000 enable results to be processed in 15 minutes, which is especially significant for critical STAT assays including the cardiac biomarkers troponin I, CK-MB and myoglobin.

TRUGENE® Sequencing System
Siemens’ molecular testing products enable screening and early detection of major infectious diseases, monitoring of treatment efficacy and selection of targeted individualized treatment options. The TRUGENE® Sequencing System is an integrated solution that consists of hardware, software and chemistry for the identification of clinically relevant resistance mutations in HIV and genotype and subtype interpretation for HCV and HBV.

VERSANT 440
The VERSANT 440 Molecular System is a viral load platform designed for flexible walkaway automation. The system streamlines workflow by integrating bar code data entry, automated reagent processing, detection, and downloadable patient worklists and results through Laboratory Information System interface software. The VERSANT 440 is not approved by FDA for commercial availability in the United States. VERSANT 440 is CE-Marked in Europe for use with the VERSANT HIV-1 RNA, HCV RNA, and HBV DNA 3.0 assays (bDNA).
