The size of the ACUSON P10 pocket ultrasound system, currently in use in the critical care unit at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, makes it portable and easily accessible in emergencies when seconds count. It weighs just 1.6 pounds and fits in the pocket of a physician’s lab coat. Dr. Eyal Herzog at St. Luke’s sees the P10 as a possible replacement for a stethoscope, which will facilitate faster care in critical situations
