The AXIOM Iconos R200 offers a range of system controls tableside, including I.I. Size and collimation, providing the operator with direct access to the patient. You can also initiate fluoroscopy and acquisition via a foot pedal. (Option) A mobile control console for examination room is also available as an option.
Do I have access to the patient from the back?
In designing the AXIOM Iconos R200, we put particular emphasis on this fact, as it is extremely advantageous for special examinations such as endoscopy, and for patient transfer. You have easy access to the patient from the back of the table from both sides of the receptor stand.
How are different image sizes generated?
The ACSS function ensures the automatic format collimation for Bucky exposures. For cassette/spotfilm device exposures, format height and width can be collimated separately up to actual cassette size or subdivision format. Over collimation of selected I.I.- format is not possible.

Which cassettes can I use and which film segmentation is possible?
With the AXIOM Iconos R200 you can use either metal or plastic cassettes according to IEC, ANSI and DIN standards and formats 18 x 24 cm (8’’ x 10’’) to 35 x 43 cm (14’’ x 17’’) (longitudinal and transverse). The maximum film segmentation is 4-on-1. You can acquire a fast series with up to 4 exposures in 2 seconds.
