Chicago, Ill., Nov. 20, 2009 – At the 95th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) from November 29 to December 3 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Siemens Healthcare presents “Healthcare Lighting,*” a concept for lighting design in medical facilities, aimed at creating a friendly and colorful environment instead of the common bland hospital atmosphere. Practical experience to date shows that many patients feel more comfortable and are more relaxed when the examination room or the diagnostic device is flooded with colored light and relaxing music is even played at the same time. Michael Reitermann to Head Siemens Healthcare U.S. Organization

Malvern, Pa., June 29, 2009 – Michael Reitermann has been appointed the new CEO of Siemens Healthcare’s U.S. organization, effective July 1, 2009. In his new position, Reitermann will lead the marketing, sales and service functions for Siemens Healthcare in the U.S., including the medical imaging, therapy and health care information technology businesses. He will be based at the U.S. headquarters in Malvern, Pa. Reitermann succeeds Dr. Heinrich Kolem, who will assume the role of global head of Siemens Healthcare’s Angiography, Fluoroscopy and X-ray business unit, based in Forchheim, Germany. More
