Siemens Healthcare will showcase its syngo®.plaza PACS, syngo.via clinical image reporting software application, plus its latest portfolio of mobile digital X-ray, CT, MR coils, surgical imaging and ultrasound solutions at the 11th annual UK Radiological Congress (UKRC) event in Manchester, 25-27 June 2012. Demonstrations of the systems and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions will take place on stand 73.
syngo.via is a multi-modality clinical application that delivers advanced visualisation to your workplace, wherever you are. It reduces the manual steps in image pre-processing, streamlining image interpretation and reporting to create time efficiencies. The latest version introduces the availability of multi-server configurations, allowing imaging departments to increase throughput and capacity, whilst maintaining seamless integration. It also offers mobile application access allowing clinicians within and outside the hospital to securely access images and reports in a standard web browser or through mobile devices such as iPads or iPhones. syngo.plaza, the first Siemens PACS to offer 2D, 3D and 4D reading in one place, will also be showcased at UKRC combined with syngo.via.
The SOMATOM® Perspective CT, will be unveiled to UK clinicians for the first time at UKRC 2012. This is a high-end CT scanner that addresses the business challenges of the healthcare environment without compromising clinical results. Benefiting from new eMode technology, it offers the desired balance between dose, cost efficiency and image quality, automatically adjusting scan parameters to enhance the system’s durability and lifespan.
The Mobilett Mira, a wireless mobile digital X-ray system will also be focal point on the Siemens stand. Offering the ultimate in versatility for general DR on the move, it features a rotating swivel arm and wireless detector for flexible positioning and its compact design makes manoeuvring between patient beds or confined areas of A&E or ITU easier.
Efficiencies within angiography departments will be demonstrated with the Artis zee™ simulator showing the whole range for interventional imaging in the radiology and cardiology. Information on the Ysio Digital Radiography (DR) general X-ray system will also be available for visitors to the stand.
Furthermore, information and demonstrations of the ARCADIS® Avantic multipurpose C-arm will be available along with the UK launch of Siemens’ two newest members of the ultrasound family, the ACUSON S1000™ and ACUSON S3000™.
Best practice discussions of how customer support can improve productivity, enhance system performance and deliver workflow efficiencies over the lifetime of equipment will be offered by Siemens Remote Services and Life teams. There will also be a discussion area to find out more about Siemens’ Managed Equipment Service offerings.
