Inveon Preclinical Imaging System Validated Using New NEMA Guidelines

Hoffman Estates, Ill., June 5, 2009 – The Inveon preclinical imaging scanner from Siemens Healthcare has recently been validated in several publications using newly established NEMA guidelines for conducting performance evaluation of preclinical PET imaging scanners.

Using these new guidelines, performance validation studies of the Inveon preclinical PET scanner has most recently been published by Chatziiannou and coworkers in Journal of Nuclear Medicine (Performance evaluation of the Inveon dedicated PET preclinical tomography based on the NEMA NU-4 standards.
