Siemens Showcases Latest EHR-Focused Technologies at AHIMA 2009 Convention

Innovative solutions help customers implement and maintain an Electronic Health Record

Grapevine, TX, October 1, 2009 – Siemens Healthcare is showcasing three innovative health information technology solutions designed to help customers build and maintain a comprehensive Electronic Health Record, at the 81st American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Convention and Exhibit in Grapevine, TX, October 3-8 (Booths #1322). Tools range from plan-of-care functionality to enterprise document management to state-of-the art data mining and reporting.

On October 4, Siemens will also feature a Soarian Quality Measures presentation, “Automated Abstraction to Business Intelligence,” during Product World, the AHIMA educational breakout session. Attendees will learn how the innovative tool is helping providers save time and improve accuracy associated with chart abstraction, as well as preparing them for CMS’ upcoming plans to increase the number of core quality measures providers must meet to continue receiving Medicare reimbursement.
