Ease of Use

You will be delighted by the AXIOM Artis MP workstation’s concept for system operation. From exam preparation to the examination and therapy itself, it provides support for every process. Ergonomic, patient oriented and impressively simple.

Automatic system positioning simplifies exam preparation. The ergonomically placed data display above the monitors provides you with all the information you need for a fast, efficient examination process. Complete control functions give you optimal freedom of action during the examination. You can perform all worksteps in the patient’s vicinity, at the patient table – from selection of organ programs in the integrated generator functionality to quantification analysis. The multifunctional workstation is transformed into a genuine angiography and intervention room. Fast system speeds, including sensor controlled tabletop travel, combined with an LAO orbital angle of 60° even enable the use of AXIOM Artis MP for cardiology applications and 3D reconstructions as well.

The syngo® user interface of the AXIOM Artis MP creates a common look and feel across all Siemens imaging modalities and recording systems. This intuitive user interface shortens the learning curve and expedites workflow in the angiography laboratory.

Image Quality

AXIOM Artis MP delivers excellent image quality for all your imaging needs. The full size CCD camera provides high detail resolution.

For 3-D reconstructions AXIOM Artis MP is equipped with DYNAVISION, generating the exposures with angle-triggering

In addition AXIOM Artis MP’s excellent image quality is enhanced by Digital Density Optimization (DDO), a full image compensation function to harmonize the grey step distribution of an image. DDO is particularly effective in achieving greater resolution in areas with high contrast variation. Even the slightest vascular structures above dense regions such as the lung become clearly visible.

Care

Consistent utilization of our CARE features (Combined Applications to Reduce Exposure) result in a dose reduction of up to 90%*. These features are designed to complement your clinical routine and minimize dose while delivering high image quality. Some Care features of the AXIOM Artis MP are:

• CAREVISION provides pulsed fluoroscopy down to 0.5 f/s for lengthy examinations
  ensuring an optimum dose reduction
• CAREWATCH displays current dose values for radiation monitoring
• CAREPOSITION enables radiation-free re-positioning of fluoroscopy image for dose reduction
• CAREPROFILE for the radiation-free positioning of the collimators and filters for dose reduction

Connectivity

AXIOM Artis MP speaks syngo® and offers full DICOM functionality. For more efficient processing, you can enter patient data via the hospital's HIS/RIS system over the entire course of treatment, starting at the moment the patient is admitted.

Comprehensive data management capabilities for displaying, viewing, post-processing or archiving images improve your overall workflow in terms of ease and efficiency.

The Multi-modality Display enables you to display CT and MR images in the examination room – on the same screen as your angiography images.
