During the acquisition of stereo images, MAMMOMAT Inspiration eliminates the need to walk to and fro between the system and the workstation, as tube angulation is controlled directly from the workstation. After selecting the target, the fully motorized needle-holder moves automatically to the right position.

Due to a vertical and lateral needle approach, lesions close to the chest wall can be accessed a lot easier. In addition the system supports a large variety of needle types.
