Ease of Use
The AXIOM Vertix MD Trauma is a ceiling mounted system with an integrated U-arm and mobile flat detector for digital imaging. The telescopic arm of the system provides a wide range of movements for easy positioning of the x-ray tube while the U-arm can be positioned for supine, upright as well as lateral shoot-through examinations. This creates great flexibility in system positioning for any challenging projections and results in more efficient workflow.
Additionally, the U-arm maintains a constant source-image-distance and exact centering of x-ray beam to detector at all times for faster workflow in a busy trauma environment. When necessary, the U-arm can also be pivoted aside while the mobile flat detector is used independently with wheelchair and trolley-bound patients, thereby meeting all imaging requirements with a single detector.
Image Quality
Imaging with the high resolution mobile flat detector results in high quality images, combining this with short image preview time and the benefits of post-processing, the images can be further enhanced for fast and accurate diagnoses.

By integrating the mobile flat detector, radiation dose is reduced while other features like selectable copper filters and removable grid for pediatric examinations further improve radiation safety standards for your patient and staff.
Connectivity
The system can be configured with various DICOM standards to ensure system integration with your HIS/ RIS enterprise. A single workstation with colour touch screen console integrates the functionalities of patient registration, generator control and image post-processing for all procedures. This optimizes system efficiency and workflow in a digital environment.
