System Design
The large travel range of the Vertix MD Trauma at 354 cm longitudinal travel and at least 204 cm transverse travel is designed for coverage of any trauma room size. The flexible rotation of the U-arm at +/- 190 deg caters to a wide variety of work routines, letting you plan your work environment accordingly.
Detector
The large format mobile flat detector at 43 x 35 cm covers any anatomical region and has 14 bit depth for a wide dynamic range and excellent image quality. Its mobility is another great advantage for detector positioning and fast turnaround of patients in all clinical procedures.
Imaging Components
The system comes equipped with the high frequency Polydoros IT 55 kW generator and the robust OPTILIX 150/30/50HC-100 x-ray tube. This dual focus x-ray tube has a nominal voltage of 150 kV and a storage capacity of 600 kHU. A generator interface synchronizes the exposure parameters between the generator and imaging station such that pre- and post- exposure parameters are displayed. This optimized integration allows the user to control exposure set-up from a single workstation.
System Expansions
Bucky wall stand VERTIX TOP for right or left-hand operation can be configured to expand clinical applications. The 152 cm vertical travel of 38 cm -190 cm provides a wide range of movement for any upright examinations. With an object-detector distance of less than 42 mm, a high image quality is maintained and magnification minimized.
