In what may be a routine chest x-ray or an emergency x-ray from a fall, we design the little features to provide comfort. During these examinations, the staff selects pre-set parameters for image acquisition – these parameters come with pre-programmed filters for skin dose reduction and automatically sets the appropriate field size of x-ray beam for the region under examination. These automated features let the staff concentrate on the patient while providing a high standard of radiaton reduction.
AXIOM Aristos FX Plus is a revolutionary system with flexible system positioning that lets the staff position patients comfortably while minimising patient re-positioning.
As in a standard spine examination requiring frontal and lateral views, the system can be automatically positioned to acquire both views without the need to re-positioned the patient. Additionally, interactive, auto-positioning system functions during fine adjustments serve to allow faster examinations.
Another example is the routine chest x-ray, the flat detector is designed with a little groove to rest your chin, making it a more comfortable experience. With the neck comfortably stretched, the jaw and the back of the head does not obstruct the airway in the final image. Although the examination may be brief, we incorporate these designs for more than just comfort.
