AXIOM Aristos VX Plus consists of three components: the ceiling-mounted X-ray tube, the tilting detector stand, and an optional patient trolley. With these components, an extensive array of examinations can be performed. Starting with upright examinations, AXIOM Aristos VX Plus easily covers them with its wide range of vertical movements – from skull to weight-bearing ankles.
With the detector tilted horizontally and the trolley positioned over the detector, the system is ready for examining recumbent patients – fulfilling yet another set of clinical examinations. And for facilities requiring specialized orthopedic imaging of the entire spine and legs, AXIOM Aristos VX Plus is designed to deliver outstanding performance with the most essential components.
AXIOM Aristos VX Plus offers T.O.P. collimation, in which the upper border of the X-ray beam is automatically fixed, thus limiting irradiation of patients’ thyroids during a chest examination. At the same time, the X-ray tube moves to retain this fixed upper border during collimation – maintaining ideal X-ray tube-to-detector centering without manual adjustments.
There are two types of mobile trolleys available that expand the clinical possibilities of AXIOM Aristos VX Plus. They can be positioned over the FD when it is in the horizontal position. The extended arm accommodates the trolley easily while allowing the X-ray tube to be operated from a frontal position.
The amorphous silicon detector in use is the Trixell Pixium with CsI scintillator. Its large format of approximately 43 cm x 43 cm provides adequate coverage of various body regions during imaging while a high transparency radiation grid serves to improve image quality. The Aristos VX Plus can be configured with different grid types to suit the examinations.
The system can be configured with either a POLYDOROS LX 50 Lite or LX 80 high frequency generator to suit your clinical requirements. The dual focus x-ray tube has a nominal voltage of 150 kV with focal spot sizes of 0.6 and 1.0 mm.
A high performance PC with large screen 19” TFT display and syngo user interface with full DICOM compatibility lets you manage the entire clinical workflow from registration to generator settings and finally image data processing. This integrated solution streamlines the workflow to let you concentrate on your patients.
