The idea of task-oriented work has now been taken up in the inpatient area. Occupational group-related tasks are generated from process steps and displayed as a task list for the respective user.
This task list serves as a guideline for treating the patient and documenting this treatment. In executing the individual tasks, you directly trigger a diagnostic procedure, a therapy, or a medication order, or access the corresponding treatment documentation. At the same time, the system displays all of the required patient information in the clinical overview. You can freely configure the clinical overview using predefined components. Direct access to the complete electronic patient record thus facilitates necessary decisions in the course of a patient's treatment and underpins the fast and complete documentation of examinations. In addition, the Documentation Work Station permits direct access to the patient's chart.
When it comes to supporting the inpatient processes, we have even gone a step further. Our ToDo lists make the systematic completion of recurrent activities easier for physicians and nurses. This kind of ToDo list might answer the query: Show all new admissions on a day to my ward and all associated activities for me as ward physician.
