Direct-to-digital aSe Detector
MAMMOMAT Inspiration provides an amorphous Selenium (aSe) detector – directly converting X-ray energy into an electric charge. Compared to indirect technologies, the absorption rate of aSe is higher in the low-energy range. This makes smaller pixel sizes possible and leads to increased spatial resolution.
Adaptive AEC
The adaptive AEC algorithm measures and selects exposure parameters based on individual breast size and composition for optimized dose calculation. The system provides full flexibility in terms of positioning.
Siemens Image Processing OpView 2
The image processing software OpView® 2 is specially designed to produce superior image quality. New algorithms provide better visualization of microcalcifications and masses. OpView has been fine-tuned to align with our customers’ needs and can be customized according to your personal preferences.
