Automated Zoom Control
Each detector has a 15 cm x 15 cm active area and is mounted on a computer controlled stage. With pinhole collimation, the detector magnification factor is easily adjusted.

High Intrinsic and Spatial Resolution
The pixelated NaI crystal has 2 mm x 2 mm pixels and 2.2 mm x 2.2 mm pixel spacing. This fine sampling supports sub-millimeter reconstructed image resolution with pinhole collimation.

High Sensitivity
The NaI crystal is 10 mm thick, providing high sensitivity even to energetic photons. The detector housing is heavily shielded with more than a centimeter of lead for minimal penetration by out of field of view (FOV) photons.

Dual-gating Capability
Inveon SPECT supports simultaneous cardiac and respiratory gating. Gating in SPECT results in tags placed in the list mode data that correspond to the physiological data.

Benefits

• The automated zoom feature allows the user to quickly change between higher resolution, high sensitivity modes to lower magnification settings. The user only needs to define the radius of rotation (distance between center of the FOV to the pinhole) and the Inveon will automatically move the detectors to the correct position
• Inveon SPECT detectors deliver image resolution of 0.8 mm using 0.5 mm single pinhole collimator or multi-pinhole collimators or 0.9 mm using 0.5 mm multi-pinhole collimator
• High sensitivity allows for working with lower doses or reduced scan times using larger doses
• Retrospectively gated data can be used for generating images of cardiac and respiratory processes
