Ease of Use

With a system like the AXIOM Artis dMP, fast system positioning and easy handling are important for a smooth and efficient workflow. Understanding these requirements, we incorporated many features on the system to meet these conditions. For quick access to fast positioning, a selection can be made from the list of pre-programmed system positions while with the click of a button; the rotating detector can be positioned into landscape or portrait format. This serves to provide the best anatomical coverage and better patient access.

Besides providing two imaging formats, the key feature here is the state-of-the-art C-arm movements, which maintains an upright orientation of fluoroscopy and acquisition images at all times, even when rotated through any of its wide angulation range – for more details, read our technical view.

For the clinician, control of the procedure is provided through our touch screen control console mounted on the patient table. This console not only allows readily available selection and modification of imaging protocols, it also integrates functionalities of the syngo X Workplace for control of 3D reconstruction. This translates into timesavings during a procedure and enhances patient comfort.

The syngo® user interface of the AXIOM Artis dMP creates a common look and feel across all Siemens imaging modalities and recording systems. This intuitive user interface shortens the learning curve and expedites workflow in the angiography laboratory.
