Comfortable Patient Examination
The MammoTest biopsy system consists of the following components:

Imaging and Targeting
The biopsy system MammoTest is ideally suited for visualizing the smallest microcalcifications and diagnosing masses and suspicious lesions.
- the fully digital detector uses a CCD (charged coupled device) of 1024 x 1024
- detector resolution: 10 lp/mm
- spot field of view: 50 x 50 mm
- optimal contrast and spatial resolution for easy visualization of entire breast anatomy
- unique polar coordinate system offers unobstructed view to needle/lesion with precise positioning (with +/- 1mm targeting accuracy)
- "Target on Scout" capability: due to the exclusive angled-needle approach, a straight-on (0°) Scout View can be used for targeting and confirming needle tip location
