AXIOM Aristos FX Plus - Technical Specifications
AXIOM Aristos FX Plus is a multi-functional, radiographic workplace with two freely movable ceiling supports for x-ray tube assembly and flat detector. The system consists of five key components:
- An off-centered, floor-mounted and height-adjustable patient positioning table. This cantilevered patient table provides a large free overhang of 75 inches/ 190 cm for detector movements while the tabletop provides additional movements of ±4 inches/±10 cm for fine adjustments. The tabletop is removable for direct imaging on the emergency transportation system if desired.
- A ceiling-mounted flat detector with motorized adjustment in three spatial axes and two rotational axes. The range of detector travel covers 70 inches/ 180 cm vertically; 114 inches/ 346 cm longitudinally and 91 inches/ 276 cm transversely while the motorised rotations are 135° around α-axis and ± 135° around β-axis.
- A ceiling-mounted x-ray tube assembly with motorized adjustment in three spatial axes and two rotational axes. The range of tube assembly movements cover 63 inches/ 160 cm vertically; 114 inches/ 346 cm longitudinally and 91 inches/ 276 cm transversely. The rotational angles are +154° to -182° around the vertical axis of the ceiling support and ±120° around the horizontal axis with lock-in positions at 0° and ±90°.
- A high-frequency X-ray generator with multi-pulsed waveform.
- An imaging and control station with application and evaluation programs, as well as DICOM system interfaces.
Designed with patient and system safety in mind, AXIOM Aristos FX Plus is equipped with integrated, computer-based collision protection ICP (Intelligent Collision Protection). This innovative system with the multi-plane movements and rotations provides maximum flexibility for virtually any imaging procedure for optimized comfort and safety.
Flat Detector Technology and imaging system
The amorphous silicon detector in use is the Trixell Pixium with CsI scintillator. Its large size of appr. 43 cm x 43 cm provides adequate coverage of any body regions during imaging while the high transparency radiation grid Pb 15/80; fo 115 cm serves to improve image quality. The grid can be easily exchanged and stored within the detector housing when required.
Imaging components and console
The system can be configured with either a POLYDOROS LX 50 Lite or LX 80 high frequency generator to suit any clinical requirements. The dual focus x-ray tube has a nominal voltage of 150 kV with focal spot sizes of 0.6 and 1.0 mm.
A high performance PC with large screen 19” TFT display and syngo user interface with full DICOM compatibility lets you manage the entire clinical workflow from registration to generator settings and finally image data processing. This integrated solution streamlines the workflow to let you concentrate on your patients.
System expansions
- Ortho package: Consisting of special acquisition software, an ortho support and a 300 cm focused grid for dedicated orthopedic imaging like scoliotic spine and leg length measurements. The acquired images are then composed on a syngo workplace where orthopedic measurements are performed.
- DiamondView is a specialized algorithm processing software that extends the signal usage of the dynamic range and improves organ-specific detail contrast.
