Siemens provides two approaches to satisfy most customer needs: claims transport and SSI’s ClickON LinX, a full claims management solution.
For claims transport, many Siemens Patient Accounting customers can implement the HDX Electronic Claims Service to transport the claims from the HIS system to a payer or customer network destination.
Siemens has partnered with The SSI Group, Inc., to provide a full claims management service. SSI’s ClickON LinX product has been specifically designed to meet the needs of many Siemens Hospital Information System (HIS) customers. The components of the LinX product include claim editing and transmission, claim auditing, bill date posting, confirmation note posting, claim status inquiry, secondary billing, claim tracking, and remittance processing within ClickON LinX.
SSI's patented ClickON technology includes a comprehensive model interface available to many Siemens Patient Accounting customers. The INVISION® and UNITY® Patient Accounting interface includes dozens of claim data fields, comments to track the date the claim was transmitted to payer, user mail date, claims status responses, and other key options. Interfaces to other Siemens product lines are also available based on customer needs. SSI’s claims validation content is embedded directly into the revenue cycle workflows of the Soarian® Financials system.
